501 (c) (3) Tax Exemption
BJUnity is a not-for-profit charitable corporation in the State of New York (incorporated in 2012).
On December 31 of 2015, BJUnity applied to the Internal Revenue Service to be recognized as a not-for-profit under section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. Federal Tax Code. That document may be viewed here.
BJUnity’s IRS Determination Letter
On January 28, 2016, the Internal Revenue Service issued BJUnity a letter of determination that confirms that BJUnity is exempt from income tax under section 501 (c) (3). You may view that document by clicking the photo.
In February of 2016, we first announced to the public on our Facebook page and on Twitter that contributions to BJUnity are now tax deductible under section 501 (c) (3).
